hese earrings are made with 30 gage sterling silver, where each freeform shape is made through a process called fusing. The fusing process is when the metal is heated in two spots, connecting metal to metal.  
 
These earings also contaim turquoise and gold colored beads, brought back from africa, and give to by one of the Seattle ART Museum curators.
